Over the years, the Library has undertaken numerous efforts to digitize research information, for the purpose of preservation and to enhance access. This web site chronicles these projects and provides a way to search the Library's Digital Collections. The scope of what you can search within these collections will expand over time.
Scheide Library: Fifteenth-Century Printing
The Scheide Library, deposited in Princeton University Library, is one
of the world's premier collections of earliest European printing. A
number of these, including unique fragments, have been digitized.
Digital maps and geographic data
The Digital Maps and Geographic Data initiative at the Princeton University Libraries offers over 300,000 maps for detailed
analysis.
Six ethnographical maps
These six ethnographical maps, dated from 1861, illustrate the physical history of various cultures from the major continents
of the day.

The Board of Trustees is Princeton University's primary governing body. Digitized from the Board of Trustees Records are the 1748 charter of the College of New Jersey, which formally incorporated the Trustees of the College, and Volumes I and II of the Board of Trustees minutes, in which the administration of the College during the period 1748-1823 is documented.
